[E3] Tekken 7 announced for Xbox One

Bandai Namco, in a bit of a surprise move, showed off what seemed to be at first glance Tekken X Street Fighter, but was announced as Tekken 7.

Gameplay was shown off in the famous Tekken style, although Street Fighter’s Akuma was shown in a battle cinematic against Tekken’s Heihachi. It was announced that the story mode would feature a seamless transition from cinematics to gameplay right into the battle.

Bandai ended the announcement by saying Xbox Live Gold members will receive a free copy of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 via backwards compatibility.

The game is slated for an early 2017 release for Xbox One. No information is known if the game will be released for Windows 10.
