Do you ever get the feeling that the random raiders or demons you’re shooting in video games just aren’t real enough? Bethesda understands, and it has an answer.
Fans of Doom and Fallout 4 will be able to experience these games in a new light when the games release for the HTC Vive in 2017. Further details were scarce, but Bethesda said fans will get an experience far more intense than Fallout 4’s survival mode with the assistance of virtual reality.
The HTC Vive was developed by electronics company HTC and Valve Corporation. It released April 5, 2016 and retails for $799.
Fans have already had plenty of time to get the full experience offered by Fallout 4, and Doom will be a 7-month-old release by 2017. Still, the games could experience a new level of success if virtual reality does bring a fresh experience as Bethesda suggests. Are you willing to invest in a Vive to experience this?
